Why Organic Fresh Produce?
Conventionally grown or produced vegetables/fruits or products that we consume daily uses chemical fertilizers/pesticides or preservatives/synthetic colorings or chemicals and hormones which can be detrimental to our health. Research has established linkages of chemicals and pesticides to weakened immune system, birth defects, learning disabilities and cancer. Chemical additives may further contaminate and destroy the natural ecosystem of the environment.
Hence, when you consume organic fresh produce, you’ll reduce the amount of toxic and chemicals into our bodies as well as protecting the environments from harmful contaminations which will result in adverse effects.
Organic foods are not ‘forced’ or ‘induced’ with synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, chemicals or preservatives will grow in its most natural form. In this way, most will have its fullest nutrients. Hence, organic will taste better and be more nutritious.
At DC, we have a wide choice of both local and imported vegetables and fruits. Also available, are the tastier free-range, no antibiotic and no hormone chickens. At DC we do not promote organic fresh produce as a cure for sickness. But we believe strongly that synthetic chemicals or hormone presence in them will not be healthy for our body. It will affect damage or interfere with our body mechanism in the long term.
